This November, if you’re a customer of The Trooper Inn, then you're invited to join Paranormal Hunters UK for an exclusive night of investigation inside one of Hampshire’s most atmospheric and actively haunted inns. Whether you’re a believer, a sceptic, or simply curious, this is your chance to walk the same corridors as the spirits that have never truly left.

A Place Where History Still Breathes

​

Perched high on the Hampshire Downs, the Trooper Inn’s story stretches back over four centuries. Once a coaching stop for weary travellers and soldiers on their way to war. It was later used as a recruitment point during the First World War, where men signed up to serve the King. Some never came home… and some, it seems, may still answer roll call.

​

Visitors and staff have long reported shadowy figures, footsteps on empty floors, and the presence of a mounted soldier on horseback who patrols the grounds. Others have felt icy hands on their shoulders or heard a woman’s soft voice echo from the old back room, the same room where investigators believe a spirit remains trapped, unable to move beyond it.

 

What Awaits You on the Night

 

You’ll become part of a real investigation team, not a stage show. Led by both Barry and Dr Iain the experienced team from Paranormal Hunters UK, the evening will blend hands-on investigation, equipment demonstrations, and spiritual experiments designed to reveal what lies beyond the veil.

• Dowsing and pendulum sessions to communicate with spirit

• Seances

• EVP, EMF and infrared camera work to detect unseen presences
