As I prepare to return to Groundlings Theatre, a place that has already offered me glimpses into the paranormal and the unexplained, I find myself standing at a crossroad of anticipation and nerves. The theatre, with its rich history and lingering spirits, still calls to me, and this time, I feel a deeper pull to uncover more of its hidden stories.
On my first visit, we encountered whispers, shadows, and the occasional tug from the other side. The orbs that danced across the stage, the EMF spikes, and the feeling that something or someone was watching us, all of these things left an indelible mark on my experience. Now, as I gear up for another night of exploration, I can't help but wonder: will we find more? Will the spirits who still inhabit this magnificent building be willing to make themselves known again?
The feeling of nervousness is inevitable. No matter how many investigations you’ve been on, there's always that question in the back of your mind: What will happen this time? It’s not fear, per se, but a cautious respect for the unknown. Groundlings has such a profound energy, and returning means stepping into that charged atmosphere once again knowing full well that you may encounter something more intense than before.
With the nerves also comes excitement. I’m ready to meet the spirits still present, to communicate, and to continue building on the foundation laid during the first investigation. Each time we return to a place like this, the connection deepens. The spirits, in many ways, are no different than we are, they seem to respond to recognition and familiarity and this time, I hope they will feel comfortable enough to reveal themselves even more.
Will I, we, capture new evidence? That is the question that lingers. Paranormal investigations are never predictable, and that’s part of what makes it so fascinating. One night you might leave with nothing but subtle signs, and the next, you could walk away with clear, undeniable proof. I can’t say for certain what we will find, but I am prepared, equipped with new tools and a sharpened intuition, to listen, observe, and document whatever unfolds.
This journey back to Groundlings is about more than seeking thrills. It’s about respect for the building’s legacy, the spirits that remain, and the energy that still pulses through its walls. With each investigation, we peel back another layer, getting closer to the truth and understanding the stories that refuse to be forgotten.
I’m nervous, yes, but I’m ready. Ready to continue this adventure, to see what lies beyond the curtain of history and the supernatural. Groundlings Theatre has more to tell, and I’m eager to listen.
